Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer…

in Christmas

And all the rest of course!

I’m not overly thrilled with the idea of handing out Christmas cards to all the kids at school because they just end up chucked in the bin, so when a link to make Reindeer Noses popped up on Twitter this morning I had to make them…

Are they not the coolest little gift idea ever? Eight Maltesers and one Jaffa (can’t forget Rudolph) and a cute little label on the top. There’s even a spot on the back for you to fill out who they are to and from.

Of course you want to give them a go as well, so I’ll share the link that Trish shared this morning with you all… The idea comes from Puddles & Gumboots, and you can get the printable labels there too.

My only problem though is that the leftover Maltesers are disappearing at a rapid rate…..

Maxabella posted about these on her blog earlier this week.
I agree they’re cute, I just don’t like the idea of handing out food. We deal with a food allergy in this house so I can see how frustrating it can be as a parent because your child isn’t always aware (it’s hard enough just for you) that their allergic food may be in whatever is handed out, let alone remembering when all the other kids are going wild.

I think its even a great idea for your family when money is tight :) Doesn’t have to be just for school.
