I’m Good…

You know how people ask “how are you” and the standard reply, at least for me, is “I’m good.” ? Well now when people ask & I say that I’m good, I’m no longer lying!

I feel good. I’m calm, more motivated, things are easier and so much less irritating than they were a few weeks ago. I’m enjoying my babies and mucking around with them. The little annoying things they do aren’t sending me round the twist!

I’m not certain if I’m 100% back just yet, but to say that things are looking up is awesome.

Did I mention we are moving? Not a giant move, we’re swapping houses with my parents next door, but a move nonetheless.

The last two weeks have been a flurry of packing boxes, decluttering and throwing things out. The Boy’s room is done, the toy room is done and the other rooms have been started. I’d say I’m about halfway there.

I think the weirdest thing is that I’m enjoying it! Going through old stuff is actually fun, especially when I let The Girl try on my wedding dress…

The decluttering is good for the soul too. We have so much junk lying around and it’s nice to know that very soon it will all be gone.

It’s exhausting though, packing up an entire house and caring for three children at the same time, but we’re getting there.

As I said, I’m good :)

Hooray for feeling good again.

Is it wrong that I am jealous of you moving house. It may be next door but it is the start of a new adventure and a chance to do a clean out. I need to move before I am buried in all of the ‘stuff’ that has been accumulating. I am sure that ‘stuff’ is like gremlins and that someone is feeding it after midnight and splashing it with water!
